Why the boys aren’t allowed to sword fight…

The light went out…

Sometimes your light goes out and it messes up your game…enjoy this short video from Will’s Kindergarten Play “Bugz”. You can sing along…”firefly, firefly, light up my light for me”…

Best to watch in the HD version as you get his reactions a bit better.

I was going to make a YouTube video to let you meet my little sister, but I didn’t listen & I got in trouble.  Sorry, maybe next time.

Whenever we download the Flip camera we always seem to have little surprises from our kids as they seem to snag the camera from time to time.

In this little hidden gem, Will decides he wants the world to meet his little sister; however, since it’s nap time he settles for his guinea pig.

Or, so we thought.

Moral of this story: don’t lie to your mom when you’ve filmed the evidence of your guilt.

the dragon escaped

this morning I walked into Will’s room and found that he had snagged Seth Primm’s music sheets from the “Present in the City - The Fatherless” event earlier this week.  Not only had he snagged them, but he had copied the lyrics of “Bound Together” word for word onto another piece of paper so that he “could play the notes”.

Then, to my surprise, he asked if he could play the song for me.

After it was over he asked a simple question…

“When we go to Africa can I play it for all the orphans we meet?”

In this simple question he asks some much bigger questions with the expectations that we will return and when we do we will be serving those children whom he was signing about.

Today, my heart is redirected because of the heart of a 7 year old boy who wants to sing.
