“There is much evidence on several levels that there are at least two major tasks to human life. The first
task is to build a strong “container” or identity; the second is to find the contents that the container was meant to hold.”

“Two questions…”
Over the past year, there have been two questions that I have been processing, and posing to myself and others as conversations turn to identity and the purpose of our lives.
Who am I?
What is God asking me to do?
Most of the time the conversations finish without any real attempt to answer these two questions. Often, the response is more of a distance glance searching for the answer (and that has often been my response as well).
So, I would like to invite some responses to these two questions.
Can you answer these questions for yourself? If you can, would you share? If you can not, would you share some initial reactions to the questions?
