Bret & Johnna Raymond, co-founders of MANA, moved their family from Bentonville to Kigali, Rwanda, to help fight malnutrition.

Today some incredible friends say their goodbye to the US as they take their family to begin the first East African based production facilities for Mana Nutrition.
Bret and Johnna Raymond have become heroes to me as they have literally devoted their lives to following God’s story of rescue and redemption specifically to the people of Rwanda by focusing on saving the lives of their children who are suffering and dying from Severe Acute Malnutrition.
Severe Acute Malnutrition takes the lives of approximately 2 million children every year and the largest concentration of need is based in East Africa. The good news is that It only takes about 30 lbs of therapeutic food at a cost of about $60 USD to save the lives of these children. So, there is hope.
Bret, Johnna and the Raymond family will be the face of this hope to so many, and it has been a honor to watch this story unfold. Their journey has not been easy and today there are probably more uncertainties than ever, but once their plane touches down in Rwanda life will have changed forever. However, they have made it this far and now as their labor is set on opening a production facility. We pray for their efforts, their family and for their success.
Follow their journey and please consider supporting them in anyway you can.
“I have three things I’d like to say to you today. First, while you were sleeping last night, 30,000 kids died of starvation or diseases related to malnutrition. Second, most of you don’t give a shit. What’s worse is that you’re most upset with the fact that I said shit than the fact that 30,000 kids died last night”
