Kidmia means PRIORITY in Amharic, the official language of Ethiopia.  Our priority is to facilitate lasting change in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in rural Ethiopia by providing holistic care and, in partnership with local churches, reunification with or adoption into gospel-loving Ethiopian families

The Kidmia Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to working with families, local churches, and communities to enable orphaned and vulnerable children in rural Ethiopia to reach their fullest and highest potential by tackling the root causes of poverty and vulnerability.
